Moon is about what comes out of you naturally. The position of Moon in a horoscope represents what one has inside-from the past or by way of instinct. These are not part of one’s memory as they happen quick and fast.
One might have noticed that if some one writes almost diagonally on a piece of paper, some one else packs all sentences in just one corner of the same paper. Somebody’s strokes would be attempting to go beyond the paper while somebody uses indiscriminate use of capital and small letters, does not given enough space between lines or strikes off a lot of words he or she has written before deciding upon what is to be written! All this is a direct result of where the Moon is positioned in a horoscope.
One’s natural action is inherent from the Moon. Seldom do we remember that these habits are supposed to be placed under the scrutiny of a third person for a definite modification. There are many who believe that natural instincts need not be modified. This is certainly not true. The main reason is quite simple. Natural instincts and tendencies, if not outgrown, transform into actions and here is where the conflict happens-responsibilities are not properly discharged, a certain waywardness seeps into the person’s character.
Interestingly, an individual’s eating habits sprout from this inherent attitude conditioned by the past and the emotional bent of mind. Substantial research has gone into this phenomenon of one’s habits and the approach to ‘action’. We would be having a lot to do with the position of the Ascendant (Lagna), Sun and Moon as we progress on this subject.
Nevertheless, there is a certain logical deduction about the distances between the Ascendant, Sun and the Moon. If these three are nearby and not thrown apart beyond 90 degrees on the Zodiac, the individual has a rational way of dealing with facts. He sees reality in the proper perspective and has this concept of proportion in contemplating, moving into and planning ‘action’. Else, the person comes forth as unpredictable, sounds fashionable and not discrete in his actions. Apparently, one looks at compactness and consistency while talking about action.
That surfaces when these three-Ascendant, Sun and Moon are in close proximity.
