Astrology and Reaction(3)
The Astrological domain for dissecting these areas is quite a vast one. Astrology per se is an alter-life and alter-world imagery wherein everything can be seen and interpreted. But clear finesse is about defining the borders based on what stands out as functional and what is clearly impacting the surface on which the common man perceives it to be happening. On occasion, the astrologer can travel a bit beyond the ordinary human comprehension but should be careful not to be misunderstood since one individual can see only one aspect at a time and can place you on the wrong side of judgment!
Well. I have chosen to relate yet another (the last one) incident before I move on to the Astrological areas of study involving ‘(Re)action’. It started raining all of a sudden just when I took off on my motor cycle. Sensing trouble, I stopped and took shelter under an extended roof. Behind me was a grilled door. Presently, a young boy came up to the door with a mobile phone on his left ear. He leaned to the grill door and started speaking rather softly. ‘Tell me…’, he said, ’…what did you have for lunch?...Ok…forget it…I will get you for dinner. You will like it…enjoy…’ It was perhaps his father who came up from behind. He smacked him on the shoulder and conducted him to the interior of the house by force. I just stood watching. The boy came back within no time and started talking yet again. His father came back instantly, repeated his act and took him inside. This time the boy took his own time and reappeared, for a change, on the other side of the grilled door. I could see his father walking into the place with disgust. I couldn’t hold myself.
‘Come on sir…’, I said, ‘…let him complete. Afterall…’ He stared at me for a while. Surely, he hadn’t seen me earlier. He didn’t utter a word; reached out to him, grabbed him by the neck and while pushing him into the interior of the house, pulled out his hand and showed me his palm. Actually, there was no mobile in his hand!

Mobile phones-smart ones are so smart that they have actually made us immobile. They have helped a lot of psychiatrists in taking their profession (and income) to the next levels! It may be surprising but it is true that an egg can be boiled with the heat generated from using a mobile phone continuously for just half an hour. Some studies have also found that if a mobile is connected to the right ear for a conversation using the signals, it can cripple the nerves in the brain! But if you thought that this was all about the story-the boy being a victim of a certain psycho-somatic disease, you are satisfying yourself with just one dimension of life. We have only seen what has just appeared, though the sum and substance can be ‘unnerving’ as well.
A couple of weeks later, I saw this boy in a café. He was walking away with someone after having coffee and stopped by my table. ‘You are shocked?’, he asked. I really didn’t know what to say. ‘The other day you were standing outside on a rainy evening and asked my father to allow me use the mobile right?’ ‘Yes. I suppose so.’ He grinned. ‘I had no mobile phone with me. But mind you, I do not suffer from any psychic disorder as he thinks. My father does not allow me to do anything. I am a prisoner of my house. So I get back at him this way!’ ‘The treatment, medicines etc…’ He almost threw his head into the air. ‘That’s the right question…’, he said, ‘…I am having him treated this way. Let him suffer. He should know one day, what it is like living under complete prohibition of life!’
There we are! If the first one was not a ‘disorder’, was this the one? We shall find the answers-in Astrology!
